One of the cousin memories I have is when we used to go to different aunts and uncles houses for the Christmas party. We would all be crowded in there and then Grandma Olson would tell her story about The Last Straw. I remember being so enthralled when she would tell her story.
She always had a special way about her when she told stories. I have always loved that story and the memories that it now has for me. We would exchange presents and just be together as a family. It always brought such good feelings and was a great memory of Christmas.

Now look how many there are of the descendants of Melvin & Wilda. The church cultural hall and summer parks can only accomadate all of us. -- Aunt Darlene
